I have a iMAC, and have used Open Office successfully until today!

The 3.4.0 version - for me - has an annoying bug.

When I start up OO, I get a small 'window' that says:

Restore Windows
The application “OpenOffice.org” unexpectedly quit while 
trying to restore its windows.  Do you want to try to restore its 
windows again?

with 2 choices - neither of which will work!
     -   Don't restore Windows
     -   Restore Windows


I have never had such a window open before, with all the previous versions.

Also, I can not quit OO - need to use Force Quit on iMAC to do so.

Can you Fix?

You can try following to solve the problem:
Delete the file "org.openoffice.script.savedState" which locate in the folder: /Users/<user name>/Library/Saved Application State

Note: The Library folder is hidden in Lion. You can open it by Go-> Go menu "~/Library"

IMHO not an individual bug.

For now I will mark all similar bugs as DUP of Bug 119006

Please feel free to reopen that bug if you find out that the workaround does
not help you.
Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you find evidence that we have an
independent issue here  (for example because the fix / workaround for the other
bug does not work for you).
