OpenOffice.org 3.3.0 OOO330m20 (Build:9567) and all previous versions I have used.

  It takes 6 seconds to copy data from a single cell (about 1 to 11 characters in my instance) as well as from the entry box.  This happens when copying using Ctrl c as well as Copy from the right click menu.  This is really quite a nuisance, especially when Copy is usually instantaneous.

Try with latest AOO 3.4.1, not repro at my side.
Steps: Input some character in a cell, select a cell copy it then paste it to Notepad.

Can you please try it with AOO 3.4.1, If still repro , please provide detail steps and which OS repro.

If you do a copy on a complete cell, it copies ok.  But if you double click on a cell to open the cell and then try to copy the text in the cell, then it delays the copy for about 6 seconds.

I have try the steps you provide on my work machine win7 64 bit, it work fine at my side.

Then I try it on another XP machine, it repro, then i back to my work machine, try it on my XP VM, it can't repro with same steps.

It is really confuse, any way it repro on one of my machine, change this bug status.

Thanks.  I need to copy parts of cells all the time and waiting 6 seconds for each copy is a nuisance.  I am using Win7/32.
