The only - not reproducible - error I got was the first time when I just
opened a presentation in edit mode and tried to start it with the center
button of the remote, OOO crashed.

"Center Button" =  Play/Pause button
OOo Crashed and immediate automatic restarted with document restore window.

After a system restart, the same scenario (open a presentation in edit mode and start it with the Play/Pause)  hangs OOo with spinning beachball (OS 10.6., white apple remote).
The second try (after killing OOo and document repair of the used document) worked well again.

I commited several missing changes.

Can people confirm the crash is fixed or not ?

Testing 10.6.8. as well as  10.5.8 using with Raphaels recent build [1], I could not find any issues - everything worked perfect.
I was using the white (old) Apple remote

getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity".
For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.
