Description philippp 2010-07-26 11:00:31 UTC
Calc keeps crashing persistently on my Mac (OSX 10.6.4) since OOo 3.2:
It is independent of the file I use, it also happens with new files I ceate.

Steps to reproduce:
Create new table,
move mouse over table tabs at the bottom of the Calc window, move it slowly over the tab and slightly
below (where it says "table 1 / 3").
Voila, color wheel, "app not responding", high CPU load.

One might think that it could be possible to avoid moving the mouse there, but infact the crash also
happens in other situations, for instance when trying to use the navigator to switch between tables. So
Calc really is UNUSABLE.

Creating a new profile did not help.

In case this is helpful: I am now using NeoOffice 3.1.1 on the same machine, no problem.

I just found the "evil":
I use a great little utility called zooom/2 which enables "proper" window resizing on OSX.
When I switch this off, OOo runs without a problem!

Details: zooom/2 version 2.4.2 (3305),
