copy to the clipboard and paste as ASCII does not preserve the numbering in the
source document.
that is, the numbering is only preserved if a list is copied from the start.
if a list is only partially copied, excluding the start, then the numbering
re-starts at the first copied node.
(the same is true for outline numbering)

create the following list in writer:

1. blah
2. foo
3. bar
4. baz

now select the last 2 list items, copy and paste as ASCII. result:

1. bar
2. baz
