Description ecifene 2009-11-30 22:52:39 UTC
The modal message saying "OpenOffice.org couldn't save important internal
information because of lack of disk space at
%APPDATA%\OpenOffice.org\3\user\backup" is nice.
Expecting you to free space out of magic is not.
The app should give more options than "Retry". I have enough free memory. Let me
continue without saving a backup at my own risk. Or give me the option to point
you to a different partition where you can store it.
At the very last option, if I can't give OOo more disk space, I should be able
to close it gracefully. Now, the only option is to kill it. Which shouldn't have
been needed in the first place.
Interestingly, when opening the application, the same message appears, but
clicking retry allows you to continue as if it got more space.
