JA->MRU: please check this...reassigned to you That's easily to explain. Star-/OpenOffice does not support linked OLE-objects since version 5.0. So the import is not able to handle this and these objects are imported as graphics (the last view of the object is stored inside the word file. MRU->CJ: Is it planned for the future that Star-/OpenOffice will have support for linked OLE objects back? *** Issue 7211 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Currently there are no plans, but it would be a great enhancement. I change the issue type from defect to enhancement. Bettina could you please take care on this. Thanks. *** Issue 14407 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 23208 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 48500 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 25696 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Interesting to me, but I can not help in the development :o( this requirement was pointed out again by the user in Japan. Japanese issuetracker: http://oooug.jp/faq/index.php?faq/4/357 *** Issue 71990 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Dear developers, would not it make sense to change component to Drawing for this issue? Hi Mathias, I have changed the current owner to your owner. Please take the ownership of these enhancements. This is important, but issue 25696 (now closed - and maybe too different) was important too. Both functions (embedding and editing) would be nice. Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org". |
