Issue 28895

Hi,

I find the QuickStarter often causes me grief, because settings which I would 
think should be updated, are kept because Quickstarter is running in the 
background.

One task I often do is to use Paste Special in Calc to Paste a Value instead 
of the formula. This requires changing three check boxes.

However once this is done, in the next Calc session I would like the Paste 
Special to revert back to the default values.

I don't even mind if this happens if I close Calc. However I need to close out 
of OpenOffice.org and then close Quickstarter as well.

Then the Paste Special options will return to the default.

I'm not certain which would be the best option. At a minimum however, having 
the default settings return by closing OpenOffice.org without having to close 
Quickstarter would mean things are less confusing. It is not always obvious 
people have to close Quickstarter and as a result they think something is not 
working.

An alternative approach is to have a Default button on the dialogue. Then the 
Paste Special dialogue could be easily reset to the default settings by the 
user.

It takes a lot of understanding what all the Paste Special options do. Once 
you start changing options it is hard to remember what they were to begin with.
