I am trying to get the English UK dictionary working in office ver 1.0.1 during
install I did a custom install but only the English (US) language pack was
available. How do I get the English (UK) language pack or get the spell checker
to work with English UK.

have tried looking on the site but can't find anything.

Hello,

you can download a small utility called Dicinstall and you will find
an Englis (UK) dictionnary in their list:
http://www.ooodocs.org/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=13
Or visit: http://lingucomponent.openoffice.org for more info.

Thank you for reporting!

Hi,

Actually the en_GB dictionary has now been added to OOo CVS
source and should be available and itnegrated as part of the next
OOo 1.1 release if release builders choose to include it.

Resolving this as fixed. Please verify when OOo 1.1 final is released.
