The closer.lua script does not allow additional '.' in file names (apart from the .html)
This is unnecessarily restrictive, breaks some download pages (and is not documented as far as I can tell).
Whilst it would not be safe to allow additional '.' chars in the directory name segments, AFAICT there is no such safety risk with the filename part.
The attached patch shows a sample fix.
