    Description

      Some time ago, Patrick suggested a subsection of the Basic Building Blocks section of the Programmer's Guide called "Sync vs. Async Operations." I don't know if that is still on the roadmap, but I put it here in case anyone wants to provide content for me to add to the Programmer's Guide.
