ZEPPELIN-2619 is causing major Problems

    Description

      The new Implementation for the Storage Format in ZEPPELIN-2619 is causing a row of Problems:

      • certain characters like ":" break the Front-End in a secured environment - this seems to be related to shiro and how those characters are interpreted as control chars
      • moving a notebook to an existing folder overwrites the entire folder causing data loss
      • general instability on notebook-Operations, e.g. moving a notebook can crash the entire zeppelin instance

      The new Format looks like a great idea but it would be great if one could choose to not use it
