      Please add at least the following entries :

      Extension-Name
      Specification-Version
      Implementation-Vendor-Id

        The properties "Extension-Name", "Specification-Vendor", "Specification-Version", "Specification-Title", "Implementation-Vendor-Id",
        "Implementation-Vendor" and "Implementation-Version" are now present in the MANIFEST files.

        This bug depends on http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MJAR-38. I am attempting to get a solution into Maven.

        They are applicable.

        We can not take benefit of the Extension-List mechanism to specify dependencies (http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/docs/guide/extensions/versioning.html) if you do not specify this entries in the manifest file.

        Moreover, consult the Jakarta packaging instructions : http://jakarta.apache.org/site/packageversioning.html

        I do not have the impression, that these attributes are applicable to XML-RPC: We do not implement any particular javax specification or something similar?
