[XMLBEANS-521] Null-check on InputStreamReader in Path

Description

When debugging my program, I have a breakpoint in 'NullPointerException' and this breakpoint always triggers on Path.java(75).

I seems that this is by design, but it's annoying.

Please add a null-check in the mean time while XMLBEANS-506 remains on the backlog.
