    Description

      As noted by the following issues:
      http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XMLBEANS-51
      http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XMLBEANS-98
      and several mailing list postings. People would like to have more control over the use of namespaces including setting the prefix value.

      Since there is no way to do this, or handle namespaces consistently throughout the XMLBeans API, this issue is being filed.
