        I edited the readme.html on the website for both XalanJ and XalanC, and they now point to JIRA. Its dangerous, but someone's gotta do it.

        We still need to update the underlying xml from which the web pages are created.

        I have reviewed the patch, and it looks good to me.

        I initially had concerns about the http link for the open issue query. Part of the attached patch changes resources.xml, and the link to list open JIRA issues against XalanJ2 would turn into:

        http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?reset=true&mode=hide&pid=10584&resolutionIds=-1&sorter/field=updated&sorter/order=DESC

        The parameters passed on the end of this URL are:
        rest=true
        mode=hide
        pid=10584
        resolutionIds=-1
        sorter/field=updated
        sorter/order=DESC

        I had a concern about the resolutionIds value. resolutionIds=1 is for Open issues, but resoutionIds=-1 seems to be for issues that are not closed, which is different and probably better looking at issues that are only in "Open" status.

        Patch looks good.

        Brian, you're right. The resolutionIds=-1 is for all outstanding issues. The URL used in the patch is the same one you get when you select the Preset filter called "Outstanding" on the XalanJ2 Jira project page.

        The one change I'm going to make to the patch before I commit it is change the order by field to the 'issuekey' field instead of the 'updated' field.

        Verified that http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/bugreporting.html has correct links to JIRA,
        closing this issue as it's fixed in the 2.7 release
