[WICKET-5684] Autocomplete example renders the search term

Description

While testing 6.17 release candidate I noticed that the example for the autocompleter is broken.
Entering "g" and selecting "Germany" from the drop down adds both "g" and "Germany" to the list below. It should add only "Germany".
