Major Description
They are all quite useful if you're doing a site with "auctions" or any sort of event that has a specific time frame. It's a pity to have to convert them into longs to allow them to be serialized into the session.
Actually, they'd be quite useful outside of Wicket in their own library, although perhaps JodaTime will save us.
