WinxP laptop, running on a WLAN that has one of those restricted-access-login pages; all HTTP requests are turned into a 302 responses redirecting to the login page.

Description
I was trying to do a build in a meeting, but site IT have just changed their security policy for guests; instead of a transparent proxy, we have a transparent proxy that 302s all requests from an unknown client to their login page.
