      Description

      XMark query 8 does not print the correct result because of an apostrophe in the attribute result.

        I am not referring to what the browser displays. I am referring to the fact, that using the char ', and the entity & apos; in an XML document is semantically identical, except that the former may be forbidden in some places (For example, within an attribute, that is surrounded by single quotes.) Not syntactically identical, but semantically. A certain normalization might be used to eliminate syntactical differences.

        Yes, the XML snippet.

        I see how you can think they are the same, since the browser is rendering the apostrophe instead of showing the HTML character entity reference.
