      Description

      I'm using jQuery in an Velocity file and have discovered the common jQuery command

      $.post("someUrl", "")

      generates a Velocity parsing error.

      Encountered "," at /myfile.htm [line 1, column 19] Was expecting one of: "(" ... ... ... ... "##" ... "\\\\" ... "
      " ... ... "#" ... "#" ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... "

      {" ... "}

      " ...

          This maybe related to VELOCITY-729. Did you try if the patch in that issue solves this?
