Description

die and warning signals are not being handled by the backend code. If something causes a die signal, the output from the signal was saved in the log file without being handled by notify() and the process exited. This caused processes to terminate without any notifications being sent. This would occur if the code contained a bug where a subroutine was called which wasn't defined.
