Description

Many institutions have load balanced LDAP servers behind firewalls but only allow external connections to one of them. If they have LDAP referrals enabled, the accessible server may refer VCL to a firewalled server. If ldap_set_option is called for each ldap bind to set LDAP_OPT_REFERRALS to 0, the referrals are not honored and only the server accessible through the firewall will be used.
