      Description

The Linux.pm::update_public_hostname subroutine currently attempts to determine the registered hostname of by running ipcalc on the remote Linux computer. This may fail if DNS isn't configured on the remote computer. It would be helpful and a little quicker to first attempt to run ipcalc locally on the management node to determine the hostname. If this fails, run ipcalc on the remote computer.
