Description

Create a module which provisions VMware virtual machines to ESX and ESX 3i hosts in the datacenter. Virtual machines will be mounted over the network using NFS. Provisioning consists of duplicating the virtual machine's disks (.vmdk) on the storage system, generating the virtual machine definition file on the storage system (.vmx), registering the vm on the correct ESX host in the datacenter.

This module is different and distinct from the existing vmware.pm because it has been rewritten to use the VMware perl API. This is required to support ESX 3i. Currently the provisioning vmware module uses vmware-cmd on the local host OS.
