Description

If the DB fails the daemons merely log the problem and carry on in a bad state.

The SM will not persist any registry changes and will confuse the WS

The RM thread handling node updates is blocked by synchronized methods in the scheduler and cause nodes to be falsely purged of their work

The OR fails writing the checkpoint
