Description

The UIMA website is getting a bit dated. Re-doing it with a "fresh" layout and somewhat more modern approaches (less XML, more markdown-like syntax) would be a nice thing.

There may be some other projects at Apache where we could get a template. cTAKES recently did a new style. The Apache Groovy website also looks nice. There might be others.

Good looks are not necessarily the primary criterion, but also ease of migration and maintenance.
