      Description

The three DataObject methods getSequence(Property), getSequence(int) and getSequence(String) have all been removed from the V2.1 specification and are deprecated in all Java implementations. They are left over from SDO V1.0 functionality and do not behave correctly in V2. Different implementations have chosen to interpret these methods in different ways (a consequence of ambiguity in the V2.01 specification) and this compromises interoperability.

This is a 2.1 specification change, identified as SDO-40 in the specification change list.
