    Description

      Once you call TSHttpTxnParentProxySet there is no way to undo that and no way to ask for the transaction to go direct if the parent is unavailable.

      There's 2 possible cases:
      1. Force a transaction to go direct after TSHttpTxnParentProxySet was set (ie. undo its effects).
      2. Allow a parent transaction to go direct if the parent fails (equivalent to the go_direct configuration setting).
