      Description

      Need to introduce a new namespace declaration "http://xmlns.oracle.com/bali/xml/faces-metadata-extension" at root element. This new namespace is required for JDeveloper.

        Comment [ I agree with Andrew on this one. This fix does not belong in Trinidad. While support for 3rd party tools is cool and all, I don't think it's appropriate to add special code to the Trinidad render kit to support each 3rd party tool. ]

        I would like to know why this is needed in Trinidad, and how this adds value to MyFaces by doing so. If Oracle wishes to add information to their own XML files, then they can extend or fork the Trinidad plug-ins, but we should not be introducing 3rd party code into Trinidad that does not benefit the entire community.
