Description

A simple rest service deployed as a singleton is not working. The service deployed as a singleton, is behaving just like a per-request service. The same example is working as expected in wildfly-8.2.0.Final. Debug statements also showed the same issue.

The example code is not optimized specifically to any particular servlet container.
