      Description

      Hi,

      the setter for the attributes sortable, defaultSorted, groupBy are Boolean instead of boolean, which causes a exception if using this attributes.

      Regards,

        They should be Boolean - the code causing the exception (in the renderer?) is wrong.

        Martin

        Hi Martin,

        i have corrected the problem with patch v2. Now they are Boolean Objects (the convention is stays for a boolean and not a Boolean).

        This exception is thrown on:

        javax.faces.component._ComponentAttributesMap.setComponentProperty(....)

        The code is here

        private void setComponentProperty(PropertyDescriptor propertyDescriptor, Object value)
        {
        Method writeMethod = propertyDescriptor.getWriteMethod();
        if (writeMethod == null)

        { throw new IllegalArgumentException("Component property " + propertyDescriptor.getName() + " is not writable"); }

        The problem was on the tag class, because it does not convert sortable to the proper value. With myfaces-builder-plugin, this tag class is now generated, so this problem was solved on TOMAHAWK-1259. I have tested and now this is not thrown.
