      Description

it would be nice if the shell component had a parameter raw analog to the raw-parameter of e.g. the insert component. this would enable us to display german umlaute Ä ... Ü and ß in the title-bar of the browser.

Added raw attribute for title generation. Fixed for 3.0.5 and 4.0.3 - also ported change to 4.1 trunk.

i understand, that there are more importent issuses.

as we need 'german umlaute' in the title line (management insisted on this) i added the 'raw' parameter to the shell-component.

because we also need to display a favicon, i also added a parameter 'favicon' as requested in TAPESTRY-257.

as both improvements seem to be reasonable simple and isolated i will attach an appropriate patch based on version 3.0.2 (14.02.2005) hoping that it will find it's way into a future release.

I'm concerned that there is a more fundamental flaw in what Tapestry is doing in terms of encoding URLs or even encoding the HTML itself.
