When a bean class inherits properties from a base class, field annotations of the base class properties are not visible

    • Type: Bug Bug
    • Status: Closed
    • Priority: Critical Critical
    • Resolution: Fixed
    • Affects Version/s: 5.0.13

      Description

The problem is that the getField() method expects the field to be present in the class, as a declared field, however its a declared field of the base class. Either getField() should search up, or should search in the class that defines the getter or setter method.
