Description

We have a script tools/dev/gen_junit_report.py to generate the junit file for
each test. If the test is failed and reason contains control character, it is
not encoded, thus generating an invalid xml file.

Result: The test result is not rendered in Hudson. Refer to the attached
screenshot for details.
