    Description

I found an email mentioning this feature back in 2003, but I could not find a
related issue, so here we go.

I would like the ability to export (perhaps even checkout?) a revision range,
with the semantics that one would only get the files that had changed within
      that range.

We use subversion for web development, and often have to package patches as
archives (with directory structure) of the changed files from a given release.
At the moment, I spend a lot of my time running massive diffs to grab those
files, which seems silly since subversion already has a complete log of what
      has changed.

At one point I had a script that parsed the log in order to trace branched
files (e.g. show me all all of the targets of the following base file /
directory), which would have been helpful in writing a script to do the above,
but I lost it when I had to re-stage my machine (should have checked it into
the repository :-), and I haven't had time to delve back into it...

      Thanks,

      Tom
