win32 client segfault with SSPI / Kerberos over HTTPS

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Closed
    • Priority: Critical
    • Resolution: Fixed
    • Affects Version/s: 1.4.x
    • Fix Version/s: nonblocking
    • Component/s: libsvn_ra_neon

    • Environment:

      Windows XP

      Description

Server: Linux with svn 1.3.2 with DAV on Apache2 and mod_auth_kerb over https
Client: WinXP with svn 1.4.4 and neon 0.26.3
(in case of a Linux client using gssapi, everything works fine)

In fact, all win32 binaries available on download from tigris.org crash in case
of SSPI / SPNEGO authentication with Kerberos. Releases 1.4.0 to 1.4.4 built
      with neon 0.26 to 0.26.3.

I have tested 1.4.4 with current branch 0.26.x and it works now.

By the way, this couple (svn 1.4.4 / neon 0.26.x) still has a issue with
virtual host or multi-homed server to submit the proper SPN
("HTTP/main.domain.com") to SSPI. I'm working on a patch for it.

Please take care to this problem for the next release: use a new neon version
      with fixes included.
