Description

As discussed in the 1.4.4 release email thread at the url, bdb repositories 
cannot be cleaned up in the tests sometimes when run over ra_dav.

I suspect they are not being closed or cleaned up properly in the code in some 
conditions.  It seems to be a fairly consistent set of tests that cause the 
issue such as below:
