    Description

      ----Build log excerpt----
      /mnt/freeport/src/subversion/current/ac-helpers/install-sh -c
      -d /home/cport/tmp/freeport14183.tmp/mnt/freeport/arch/linux32/info
      subversion/svnversion/svnversion /mnt/freeport/src/subversion/current /repos/svn/trunk
      > /home/cport/tmp/freeport14183.tmp/mnt/freeport/arch/linux32/include/subversion-1/svn-revision.txt
'/mnt/freeport/src/subversion/current' not versioned, and not exported
      make: *** [revision-install] Error 1
      ----end----

/mnt/freeport/src/subversion/current is a symlink, pointing to
subversion-1.3.1/ in the same directory. The svnversion command does not appear
      to be following the symlink.

I will attach a simple patch to the top-level makefile that addresses the
      issue.
