It is arguably inconsistent that we prompt about caching SSL certificate trust,
but do not prompt about storing passwords.

A mode where the caching of passwords is explicitly confirmed with the user
after password entry seems like a sensible thing to me, entirely independently
of the security properties of the backend store.
