Description
Patch by David Weintraub (david_at_weintraubworld.net). This patch includes a script that is meant to replace commit-access-control.pl because it provides a superset of its functionality. David describes the hook this way: "This hook controls who is allowed to commit just like the old hook. However, it also allows you to use groups instead of just user names (which makes it easier to maintain). Plus, it has a special "add-only" mode where you are not allowed to modify a file, but you are allowed to add a directory with files (perfect for tags). Plus, it also helps makes sure users set the properties correctly. Plus, it also allows you to ban certain file names." There were no responses on the dev list. The original patch is archived here: http://subversion.tigris.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=105924
