Description

Why the SVN execution time for "svn update file1 file2 file3" increases in 
arithmetical progression?
I.e. time to update such way 10 different files is 10 times slower than for 1 
file.
Sure I can not point files and type "svn update" to update entire folder, but 
what if I need to update only several files?
Is it know issue? Is any fixes (pathes) exists? May be some option can imporove 
speed?
