[SVN-1202] Make diff+merge more intelligent for certain binary files

Description

It would be nice if diff+merge would be more intelligent with binary
files that
are encapsulating ordinary text files, such is the case with
OpenOffice, dia, or ArgoUML, for example.
                                                                     
          
The idea is that subversion would recognize some file types as simple
containers (zip, jar) or transformations (gzip) of text files and if
possible merge the changes in repository to locally modified files as
if the files were plain text.
