The following specifies the minimum requirements to run this Maven plugin:
Maven 2.0.9
JDK 1.3

However I get the following error when using <jvm> 1.3:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/maven/surefire/booter/SurefireBooter
Exception in thread "main"

Works OK with Java 1.4
