A recent project at work reminded me that it would be useful to keep track of LOC counts and other metrics for stdcxx on an ongoing basis and publish the data (perhaps in a graphical form) on the project web site. One tool that seems pretty popular for this purpose is David Wheeler's SLOCCount: http://www.dwheeler.com/sloccount/
