Missing privileges in "Oracle Roles and Privileges" paragraph (section 25.8.2.2)

    Description

      In Sqoop user documentation some oracle privileges are missing from the ones listed in section "25.8.2.2 Oracle Roles and Privileges".
      If you configure the oracle user just with the privileges listed, the sqoop import fails with huge partitioned tables.

      The missing privileges are:

      • select on dba_tab_partitions
      • select on dba_tab_subpartitions

      The missing privileges are listed in section "25.8.2.3. Additional Oracle Roles And Privileges Required for Export".
