i ran "./bin/solr -h" thinking it would either give me "help" info about running the script, or an error if that argument was invalid – but instead if just hangs printing nothing and doing nothing.
I realize now that "-h" is for specifying a "host" - but that makes the behavior all the more weird since it didn't give me an error about a missing hostname
