Optimize Navigation for global Items

      Description

      SOLR-3367 brought the need for more available space for the content-area, we should move the used sub-navigation to the left navigation panel. function follows the current handling for all the core-areas we already have (lower part of the left navigation)

          Actually... on the Logging tab, do you think we need the "Viewer" sub menu? I think it would be OK to just have the top level show the events, and have "Level" as the only sub-menu. Similar to how the core page has an overview at the top level.

          Down the road, I will want to add a "Query" sub-menu to Logging if events are indexed SOLR-3368

          looks great!

          I like the existing layout for CoreAdmin – there is enough space and I think nesting makes sense, especially when there are a lot of cores

          updated patch, missed logging.js.

          Not sure if we should also change the current CoreAdmin? The Content-Area is already big enough for all required information and furthermore the list of cores can become longer which is no problem until the core-list is moved to the outer left Navigation?
