      In this issue: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-538 a maxLength property was added to the copyField directive. However, this is not documented in the example schema to make the feature known to users.

        hl.maxAnalyzedChars is a better way to limit highlighting, right?
        An example using both a dynamic copyfield and maxChars probably would be a good idea though (kill two birds with one stone).

        revised patch to use maxChars - still not sure if this is a useful example, but at least adds some documentation of this property.
