    Description

      Azimuthal Equidistant (EPSG:1125) projection has been added in December 2023 in EPSG guidance note , ยง3.6.3.3. The fomula are not given in EPSG notes. Instead, they refer to Karney, C. F. F. (2013). Algorithms for geodesics. Journal of Geodesy, 87(1):43-55.

      Those formulas are already implemented in Apache SIS, in the GeodeticCalculator class. We would need to refactor the code in a way making those formulas accessible from the map projection package.
